The Intelligent HR Platform: Get back to why you wanted to be in HR

At Personio, we understand that people are at the heart of every organization. When listening to HR leaders over the years, I always hear a consistent message: they want to help people succeed, develop and drive impact in their organizations. These are the reasons they chose to make a career in HR. 

Sadly, for many HR leaders, these are not the goals they find themselves working towards. During our annual HUG conference in Munich today, I was proud to showcase our Intelligent HR Platform and how it helps HR teams get back to why they entered HR, to focus on people.

Smart Automations to guide you in your work

With Smart Automations, we wanted to go further than just digitizing manual tasks by first actually understanding how you work and your specific processes. This allows us to detect repetitive, low-value tasks that you are performing often and then suggest workflows that you can automate.

I am blown away by the digital documents that allow digital work contracts to be automatically filled out using the saved profiles and then signed digitally.

As an example, Smart Automations are able to monitor your inbox and detect tasks that are time sensitive requiring immediate attention. Rather than have you go through your inbox one message at a time, we’ll recommend which tasks to tackle first, automating your workflow. If you don’t know where to get started on your automation journey, our platform also provides workflow templates based on industry best practices. These include popular workflows like setting up absence policies for global locations, work anniversaries and more.

Dynamic Adaptability responds to your unique needs

While working with thousands of customers over the years, we’ve learned that no two organizations set up their people workflows in exactly the same way. With Dynamic Adaptability, we wanted to offer HR teams maximum flexibility so they could design their processes exactly the way they want. A good example of this is the ability to define detailed access permissions, so all people managers can see promotion history while being limited to only direct team compensation data. 

Scalability is easy with Personio, and the additional costs are transparent, which helps with our planning.

We also recognize that your needs aren’t fixed, they evolve as your organization matures. For instance, you might want to move from the occasional surveys using general purpose survey tools to a more formal approach, one where you continuously capture employee feedback. With 200+ native and partner applications, you’ll be able to add new people workflows as you need them.

Today’s new features announcements include a beta release of our very own Workforce Planning solution. This will help manage your headcount planning, associated recruiting workflows, visualize impact to org charts, and more.

Finally, the ability to gain insight from people data and make data-driven decisions has long been a challenge for HR teams. With Proactive Insights, we’re providing an entirely new way to learn about trends in your people data.

I love how intuitive Personio’s system is and how the help it offers is available in different forms. As an HR manager, I want to be able to customize reports and export the data at the click of a button. It’s amazing how easy it is to do this with Personio.

For example, perhaps there has been a recent increase in attrition rates in a specific department or an unfavorable trend in gender equity. With Proactive Insights, you’ll be notified of such trends well in advance so you’re able to respond quickly.

In addition to being notified of key trends, you’ll be able to leverage a new feature we’re calling Personio Assistant! You’ll be able to ask Personio Assistant questions as well as request tasks such as “show me a summary of all hires in the last year organized by location & level”. It’s truly amazing and will be available later this calendar year.
