As a key member of our dynamic Product & Engineering team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to influence the direction of our engineering culture, product development, and operational strategy.

In this role, you’ll directly impact the success of our products, users, and internal processes. Collaborating with talented, cross-functional teams, you’ll help drive large-scale initiatives that deliver measurable value to the business. You will lead complex, highly visible programs from planning through execution, balancing both current needs and future growth.

As the Program Manager in Strategy & Operations, you’ll play a critical role in implementing strategic programs that align with Personio’s vision. You'll guide the organization through ambiguity, create clarity, and connect product and engineering teams to deliver on ambitious goals. Role Responsibilities :

  • In partnership with business owners, lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects and initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define program/project objectives, scope, timelines, and success criteria.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including tasks, milestones, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and impact.

  • Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate as needed to ensure initiatives stay on track.

  • Champion the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and tools for effective project management within PTECH (Product & Technology) team.

  • Prepare and deliver regular program status updates and executive-level communications to stakeholders.

  • Foster continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing lessons learned.

  • Drive operational efficiency by standardizing processes and utilizing tools and automation to streamline workflows.

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of program management experience, successfully leading large, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Proven ability to lead complex, company-wide programs requiring coordination across multiple teams and engagement with diverse stakeholders.

  • Expertise in developing and executing SaaS product strategies, with a focus on customer needs, market trends, and scalable growth.

  • Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to influence and drive collaborative resolution for optimal organizational outcomes.

  • Excellent project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Proficient in analyzing data to derive actionable insights that inform product strategy and drive operational improvements.

  • Strong customer focus, both internal and external, with a commitment to identifying and solving problems to deliver high-quality results and impactful outcomes.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, set clear priorities, and collaborate effectively to drive progress and impact.

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management, problem-solving abilities, and experience working with senior stakeholders and large organizations.
